Kek Lapis Sarawak
 



Bahan-bahan ( 8 x 8 x 2 inci )

BAHAN A (dalam kek)
200 gram mentega/butter
3 sudu makan susu pekat

BAHAN B (dalam kek)
5 biji kuning telur
3 biji putih telur
150 gram gula kastor
100 gram tepung hong kong
1 sudu makan ovelet


*Ovalette is a stabiliser used in baking sponge cakes. It helps the eggs to rise rapidly and stiffly.
As it is acidic it also helps the beaten eggs to remain stable and not lose the airy and voluminous texture.
It makes sponge cake softer and smoother.
Ovalette is very important in the recipe if you want it to have a nice, even soft cake texture. Substituting it with baking powder(1/4 tsp of baking soda ) is also possible but it won't give you the desired texture if you have beaten the eggs mixture too much or too little. Baking powder can only give you minimal cake rise. If no ovalette you may use other kind of stabilizer called jilk

BAHAN UTK BHGN LUAR KEK
300 gram putih telur (8 biji putih telur)
190 gram tepung hong kong
150 gram gula kastor
1 sudu makan ovelet
250 gram butter/mentega (cairkan)
50 ml susu cair

Cara-cara
1.CARA UTK MEMBUAT DALAM KEK

2.Pukul Bahan A hingga sebati.

3.Pukul Bahan B hingga kembang. Kemudian masukkan ke dalam Bahan A. Gaul sebati

4.Bahagikan adunan kepada 3 bahagian.
Bhgn pertama masukkan pewarna hijau,
bhgn ke 2 masukkan pewarna merah & bhgn ke 3 masukkan pewarna kuning.

5.Bakar bhgn pertama dulu, bila hampir masak, lapiskan bhgn ke 2 dan seterusnya bhgn ke 3. Buat 3 lapisan.

6.Bila masak, sejukkan dulu. Apabila sudah betul2 sejuk potonglah kek tersebut berbentuk memanjang. Kemudian potong segitia kecil2 atau segiempat sama. Biarkan dulu.

7.CARA UTK MEMBUAT LAPISAN LUAR KEK
8.Pukul putih telur hingga kembang. Kemudian pukul semua bahan kecuali mentega cair. Akhir sekali barulah masukkan mentega cair. Gaul rata & sebati.
9.Bakar lapisan pertama sebanyak 5 sudu makan. Bila hampir masak susunkan kek yang telah dipotong tadi di atasnya. Masukkan adunan di atasnya sehingga menutupi semua kek yang telah dipotong. Bakar lagi.
10.Bila hampir masak susun lagi kek yang telah dipotong tadi. Buatlah begitu sehingga semua adunan habis.

11.GUNA ACUAN  8 x 8 x 3 inci
