Pineapple Apple lemon Jam


1 small ripe pineapple 
1 small green apple
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 cup of  sugar
1 cup of water.
2 tsp of lemon paste.

1 Peel, core and slice both the pineapple and apple. Put both sliced and chopped pineapple and apple into a blender together with 1 cup of water.
2. Drain of  excess juice into a cup but retain the residue. (You can use this pineapple juice for a refreshing drink).
3. Mix the remaining  watery residue with 1 cup of sugar. Add in 2 tablespoon of lemon juice.
4. Place the mixture in a large heavy based saucepan. Simmer gently  until thicken.or about 15 minutes until setting point is reached.
5. Mix in 2 tsp of lemon paste.
6 Spoon into warm sterilised jars and cover.
